We are currently looking for a Marketing Associate to join our dynamic and growing team. The recruit will be planning and executing a wide range of marketing initiatives to market the Merk Funds, as well as assisting in managing the online presence of the company. The job requires creative ideas, organizational skills and experience with utilizing various online tools. Primary Job Functions
- Execute innovative marketing including implementation and maintenance of:
- SEO: active Search Engine Optimization
- Online Ads
- Merk website www.merkfunds.com
- Merk newsletters and e-mail campaigns
- Organize trade show and conference participation
- Create marketing collateral for online or print use with the use of Indesign, Dreamweaver/HTML coding, WordPress, PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience with HTML coding, JavaScript and other web languages
- A self-starter with strong organizational skills, high energy, and the skills to use the firm’s tools and technology to support all marketing efforts.
- The ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment, handle a wide range of tasks, follow processes and collaborate with fellow team members.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in this role; must be coachable and willing to go the extra mile to learn new skills.
- Undergraduate degree in relevant field.
