Emily Meyer is the Director of Distribution for the Merk Funds and brings over 9 years of financial services experience to Merk Investments. She is responsible for product distribution and business development of the Merk Mutual Funds through the investment advisor channel in the Eastern United States.

Ms. Meyer holds a B.S. in Human & Organizational Development and Fine Arts from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Bryant University, where she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.

Ms. Meyer began her career as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial (formerly American Express Financial Advisors), before joining Fidelity Investments Institutional Services, Inc., in 2004. At Fidelity, Ms. Meyer was a Senior III Regional Investment Consultant with the Wealth Advisor Group, where she was responsible for the distribution and sale of Fidelity products to financial intermediaries. Most notably, Ms. Meyer was part of the team that established and developed Fidelity’s registered investment advisor sales team, which supports not only Fidelity and Fidelity Advisor Funds but also retirement products, 529 plans and annuities. She holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Ms. Meyer lives in Providence, Rhode Island with her husband and daughter, where she serves on the board of the Providence Preservation Society and is actively engaged in the fundraising efforts of several non-profit organizations and charities. She enjoys skiing, traveling, photography and spending time with her family.
