Financial Analyst

Matthieu Doublet is a Financial Analyst at Merk Investments and member of the Portfolio Management Group. He focuses on macro-economic research, security selection and quantitative portfolio optimization. Prior to joining Merk Investments, Matthieu gained experience in financial analysis working for Crédit Agricole CIB.

Matthieu holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE) from Columbia University, as well as a Master's Degree from ENSAE in Paris, France, where he studied applied mathematics, macroeconomics, econometrics, statistics and probability theory. In addition to being fluent in French and English, Matthieu speaks German.

Matthieu Doublet lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is interested in traveling, cinema and many sports including skiing, squash, soccer and sailing.
