Financial Analyst

Nicholas Reece joined the firm in May 2012. He is a Financial Analyst at Merk Investments and member of the portfolio management group. Mr. Reece focuses on macroeconomic research and portfolio analytics. Prior to joining Merk Investments, he gained experience with Paul Hastings in Hong Kong, assisting attorneys on leveraged finance and capital markets transactions, and with Atlantis Investment Management. Mr. Reece holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College. He has passed the Level III exam for the CFA program.

Nick lives in San Francisco and in his free time enjoys sailing, playing tennis, and reading.
