How to Invest in the Merk Funds

Please read the prospectus carefully before you invest. There are 3 ways to invest in the Funds:

1) Invest Directly with Merk Funds

If you prefer to fax or mail your application, please download the application form

2) Invest through a Broker

Merk Mutual Funds has distribution agreements with a number of dealer firms:

If your broker's firm does not have a distribution agreement with the Fund of your interest or has not yet enabled trading for the Fund, encourage your broker to call (866) MERK FUND to learn the steps necessary to establish trading. Alternatively, you may contact us to approach your broker.

3) Invest through your Investment Adviser

Investors should encourage their investment adviser to contact us or call (866) MERK FUND to learn more about the Funds and how we can be of assistance to them.

Investment advisers may be eligible to invest in Institutional Shares.

Minimum Investment

Investor Shares

As an initial investment, a minimum of $2,500 is required for standard accounts. A minimum investment of $1,000 is required for traditional and Roth IRA accounts, accounts with systematic investment plans, and qualified retirement, pension or profit-sharing plans. Minimum additional investments are $100.

Institutional Shares

The Institutional Shares have a minimum investment of $250,000. Advisers may be permitted to aggregate the value across multiple client accounts.
